Ninth Annual Cool Wheels Cars Dazzle Spectators

The 2020 Cool Wheels Car Show featured an incredible array of more than 800 cars from every decade imaginable. Antique roadsters lined up with dragsters, trucks and muscle cars in dozens of makes and models. Thousands of spectators came from near and far for the 9th annual show at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, enjoying the huge assortment of cars while supporting YATC, too!

Congratulations to Gregory Dohring and his 1957 Ford DelRio built by Rad Rides by Troy of San Bernardino, California, (pictured above) for his $1,000 “Coolest of Show” first place win. Second place went to Jose Lugo and his 1957 Rat Rod and third place was awarded to Steven Smith with his 1959 Volkswagen Convertible.

Cool Wheels Co-Chairs Joe and Mona Aliseo coordinated the display of hundreds of beautifully restored and maintained vintage cars, musical performances, food trucks, raffles, a silent auction, door prizes and a Broward Sheriff’s Office canine demonstration and helicopter landing. This year, Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley-Davidson donated a gorgeous 2020 Street Glide Special to raffle off. Winner Walter Moser was present to accept his beautiful new bike.

As always, YATC is grateful to the many volunteers, donors, participants and guests who attended the show. Cool Wheels is a fun event that aims at raising awareness of the YATC program in the community and connect with new employers for our graduates.
